Liposuction Alternative

The Liposuction Alternative that is Right for You

Liposuction is one of the safest cosmetic surgeries available today. However, being that it is surgery, it has its own risks. The medical researchers have been searching for a long time for a liposuction alternative which can give the same or even better results without the complications or risks of the liposuction procedure.

The Blessing of Technology

Fortunately, the technology and knowledge of today has been able to throw up a few good choices as a liposuction alternative. These liposuction alternatives are usually prescribed for people who do not like the thought of liposuction; for those who are allergic to the anesthesia; or for those who want to repair what liposuction has done – such as lumpiness or bruising.

Alternatives:

  1. Creams – there are a number of cosmetics that have come out on the market which when applied melt the fat below the skin and smoothes its texture. These creams are mostly aimed at cellulite, though they can work great on the fat below the skin as well.
  2. Lyposculpture – while liposuction involves expanding the fat with fluids and then extracting it, lyposcupture involves a very sophisticated technique whereby the fat is removed through very tiny instruments causing least pain and swelling. Though this procedure is excellent and has a very short recovery period, it costs about $5000 which is pretty steep.
  3. Lipoliquidation – this is one of the latest techniques of removing the fat. This method involves injecting of certain solution in between the fat layers which promote the body’s own system to remove it through its natural mechanisms. This is definitely a bit slower, but it is extremely safe and there is no surgery involved.
  4. Homotoxicological Injections – this method involves the injection of homeopathic solutions in the body whereby the body’s basic mechanics gets boosted into self-repairing mode. This assists the body for ejecting the fat through the lymphatic system.
  5. Three Medicine Cocktail – this method involves three types of injections given in three stages. The first stage the injection will destroy the fatty tissues. In the second stage, injections will be given to eliminate cholesterol. The third stage will see injections which are diuretic which helps the body expel the fat through urine. This method takes about three months to produce results, but it works well and does require surgery.

Any of the above liposuction alternatives is a good alternative. Sometimes people use a combination of these methods on alternative basis. However, they are all well proven to remove fat with little or no side effects and no surgical intervention.
