To the Editor: A 32-year-old woman with acute myelogenous leukemia presented with a 2-month history of subtle papules on her cheeks and forehead 100 days after allogenic bone-marrow transplantation (). She was on cyclosporine for graft-versus-host disease prophylaxis. A punch biopsy specimen from her cheek revealed a dermal folliculocentric infiltrate with exocytosis of atypical lymphocytes into the follicular epithelium and mucin deposition (, A)

Total contact casting combined with human fibroblast-derived dermal tissue in 15 DFU patients

We present a case report of a complex abdominal wound caused by a gunshot trauma in an elderly patient. His general health condition and local disruption of the left rectus, external, internal oblique and transverse abdominis muscles prevent local flaps or major surgical reconstruction procedures. The combined use in multiple stages of a homologous fascia lata graft, negative pressure therapy and acellular dermal substitute template followed by skin graft allowed stable wound healing.
Dermal dendrocytes FXIIIA+ phagocytizing extruded mast cell granules in drug‐induced acute urticaria
1, May 2012Conclusions The current observations provide morphological evidence that the exocytosis‐phagocytosis mechanisms of mast cell granules represents one pathophysiological example of mast cells‐dermal dendrocytes interactions in urticaria.
